Sooby , fortunately we are south west of London Ontario about 40 minutes and it appears ( at least at last look ) that the storm will be tracking more north and east of us . London looks like it will be as far south as the storm will reach out its cold and snowy hands
Was out weeding gardens and removing last years residual woody and straw like stalks on the hostas and echinaceas .Anyone want some snowdrops, Star of Bethelehem ,purple sensation allium , or Ladybells? I am going to have to turf hundreds of them . Sighing!

Snowing here, it is hanging on everything the trees and shrubs look pretty like they are flocked. I just hope that my emerging plants like tulips and daffodils don't freeze. Big flakes that combine into small snow balls before they hit the ground or stick to something or plaster themselves against the windows making looking out kind of difficult. Hope this is the last snow mother nature produces for this spring. Blinking

I agree with Rita.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

You wouldn't like snow much if you lived in any northern snow prone area. Hilarious!

The snow is not unexpected or unusual here this time of the year, actually we had a mild winter. The snow we are getting is very heavy with moisture and will likely melt within several days as the temperature is not all that cold. I just have spring fever and would like to get out in the garden.

I was born in Michigan, Rita. Loved every minute of every snow storm when I was a child. My parents never complained about it so I guess I grew up with a positive feeling for snow. Lovey dubby

@quietyard I grew up in the North Carolina sandhills where it rarely snowed and I loved the one or two times it snowed when I was growing up. Then I got married and moved to Northern Illinois. It snowed in November and we didn't see the ground until spring. By the time that first winter was over, I had had my fill of snow but there were 34 more years of it before we moved south!

Oh dear. Well, I guess kids love snow even when us adults don't like it so much. But I know there are people that just love snow. I just can't figure out why anyone would feel that way! Shrug! Hilarious!

I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Hi Signet,..i didn't know its name as it arrived with a Mixed group of bulbs,..however jmorth was good enough to give me the name when i posted it in my Thread " Untitled ".

The first daffodil is a div. 11 Split Corona Daffodil., it looks like 'Exotic Mystery', a hybrid created by Brent and Becky's Bulbs in Va. but grown out for market in Holland.
