I too am in Michigan, Westland to be exact. Only 28 this chilly morning. We also had some flooding from all the rain. My backyard is a soggy mess! I need to get my rain barrels hooked back up soon so I can take advantage of all this rain!

@cward10134 I can't imagine what Hines Park looks like after all that rain. It always floods.

Oh, It's flooded alright! I live half a block away. So I always get a lot of critters in my yard too!!

Woke to freezing rain/rain yesterday too, then just cloudy and chilly all day. Freezing rain is one of my least favorite types of precipitation, but it sure makes for pretty pictures! Today the temp started around 31f and was 54 and sunny by 3pm. After being cooped up all week in the house I spent the day outside cleaning seedling beds.
Took a break and then brushed Duma before dinner, she has shed nearly all her winter coat now. I'm hoping that is a sign that the cold/warm roller coaster is almost done! She looks good, needs a bath, but appears to have put on some weight after all the worry and early trouble we had switching her to the pellet diet this winter. I'll be glad when the grass is growing again and she can roam around in the pasture.

We were lucky to have 4 wheel drive to get out of our laneway today to the main road. There was a very thick layer of ice over about four inches of ice pellets, then more ice. We made it, though, and made it back up when we got home later in the afternoon. I hope it melts soon!

High is 66 today..and RAIN. Happy Easter!

Running joke is everytime I post rain or a cloudy day, the sun comes out hehe. We got our outside egg hunt today, you see the egg? But pic #2 was my backup hiding spot in the house if it came down to it ;). Hoping everyone is enjoying dinner and family.. Im going to stuff my face very soon! :D

3 3/4 inch's of rain over the weekend after an 1 1/2 Friday. Dry today and tomorrow then rain again.

72 when we got up. We are supposed to have rain around noon so will try to get some weeding done this morning

We had a beautiful Easter with sunny sky and 65 degrees. Around 9pm in the evening our nice day turned to thunderstorms and it is still raining this morning. All the rain has sure made the daylilies pop. I think most are about 3 inches and nice and green.

It is raining heavily here this morning. I hope that helps get rid of some of the snow and ice we received on Thursday. If it had not been for that darn storm, we would be snow free by now and I could be walking around my garden today (with an umbrella)
