45* here last night. and cold for the next few nights. The coleus are showing sighns of stress.Leaves are turning color and plants are growing taller in the pots.
It would surprise me if leaves start falling off. I warned DD she should take cuttings a few weeks ago. Too bad she never listens to her mother.

Joanne what a beautiful scene that is.
In the low 50's here at night and leaves are starting to fall from the trees. It is starting to feel like fall in the air. But next week we will be back into the 80's for an Indian Summer.

2 loads of composted leaves in the driveway. DD will spread what she needs and Garden helper will spread the rest.

Some of my coleus are shedding some leaves, but overall they're still beautiful.

I agree. The dark leaved ones are a bit odd but Beckwiths Gem and Gays delight hold up and are looking compact still.

I think I needed to do more early pinching on my fuchsia. It is healthy looking but not very bushy.

Tarev, those are wonderful photos. Lantana was always one of my favorite perennials where I grew up. I haven't grown them since the 60's when we moved to the PNW.
Your tender succulents are beautiful. Do you have to bring them indoors for winter?
Would love if you could post them over on this thread so we can find them easily as tender succulents. Would love to see any others you may have. : )

Oh yeah, got lots of succulents in my garden! I grow mostly drought tolerant plants, that's why they are mainstays heheh! Our winters here in Tracy, are mild, so I have no need to bring them indoors for winter, however, depending on the rainfall, sometimes it is touch and go, so pretty much I have to make sure the containers are really draining well! Sure I will go to the other link and show my other succulents Smiling
