I know what you mean, it's scary out there! Still a lot of good companies though. Bluestone seemed to lose a lot of customers when they jacked their prices then they lost a lot more when they switched to coco pots. If you don't mind those two things then it's ok probably, plus compared to other companies the prices are actually kinda normal. I can't stand the coco pots but all the nurseries are under pressure from the EPA to get rid of the plastic pots because there are thousands of them on the landfill. I have stacks and stacks and try to reuse as much as possible but I hope they can find a better way to accomplish this.
I purchased a lot of hostas and some perennials from Gardenharvestsupply.com, great prices and great packing the plants are a little small but well worth the money.
Last week I got a few hostas from Mamajacks/Bentley the have six packs but I ordered some 4 inch pots for 5 or six dollars and free shipping!!
I am finally getting a Cathedral Windows, Peppermint Ice, and Lakeside Love Affair. These are 4 inch pots for the price of a liner!
This is my first year ordering from mamajacks but I have really had me a field-day! WhooHoo

Well, I have been looking for a 'Sharp dressed man,' ilovehostas.net had one for 34.99! Ouch Last night I found a nice one for 18.00 from Naylor Creek, I was so happy I bought two more that I have been wanting for a long time. Yellow poka dot bikini and Lakeside Cranberry Relish. OMG I am soooo excited about these.
Also got some good deals on Mammajack/Bentley's co-op, I got a few of the 4 inch pots, Lakeside Love Affair, Lakeside Scamp, Temptation, Cathedral Windows and Peppermint Ice.
The other really good deal I got was on eBay, where I won a 'Valley's Glacier' and purchased a White Feather from a nice company I've done business before called GardenBreezeHostas. Check out ebay but read the reviews and make sure they are good, this time of the year there is not a lot of people bidding on plants and you can get some good deals.

Is the co-op over? I did look the other day and saw a few I wanted. Taking family to the dr and haven't been on in a few days.

I have it and it is just as pretty as the pictures! Seems to grow well for me. Gets morning sun and filtered sun all day.

I was eye-balling one the other day. Do you have any problem with slugs?

Slugs aren't a big problem in my gardens. Here's a picture of Rainbow's End from last summer.

Oh, no wonder you have a lot of pine-straw, they can't craw through that! I have been gathering a lot from the neighbors, lots of pine trees but none in my yard.
Beautiful Hosta I think that will go on my list. Also on my list is 'War Paint', have you seen it, this hosta actually speaks, 'Look at Me, I am beautiful, I am Hostaaaaa.'

Susan the Warpaint is a nice looking plant , but from what I read it only has color in early spring and turns all green by June,
