Had a Dragon's Orb open this morning. First time, so wasn't sure I'd like the colors, but I do. Difficult to get a clear sharp photo from the phone camera, the bloom is soooooo teeny. And very cute!

I can sympathize about the phone camera. That was all I had until last year when I finally bit the bullet and bought a point and shoot digital. Best thing that I ever did for my pictures.

Hey, Les. It you ever have extras of Whale Tails you want to sell, let me know. Lucky you to get it. I enjoyed the blue in the eye of Bold Awakening. Mark Carpenter sent it to me this year as a bonus, so I am anxious to see how it performs in my garden.

Lyle, I enjoyed your photos. You have had some great seedlings out of Fantastic Fringe. Guess I need to get that one. I was particularly interested in the color of Orange Grove. It seems much darker for you than it is for me. It has not thrived in my zone 6 garden. It was still three fans this year and I got it the year of introduction. How has it performed for you? Maybe it doesn't like the cold here. This spring I gave two fans to a friend and kept one. I moved my one fan to a different location, hoping that would help. When it blooms it is outstanding. I want a big clump of those blooms!!!

OK Ann. The first extra fan goes to Lyle this fall and then we'll have to wait for it to increase.
