I need more information. Where do you live? How cold does the area get that the fiddle is in and for how long? Does the temperature increase/fall during a 24 hr. period and if so, what's the range? What sort of light from 8 AM till 5 PM does the plant get? How often do you water, or more importantly, when/why do you water? Please be as specific and expansive with these answers, and any other information that you may deem important.
