I don't have this particular rose. Although I have many Kordes roses that do very well here on Long island, I would not purchase this rose because it would most likely ball in my hot, very humid summer climate. I have tried a couple of Austin roses with numerous closely gathered petals and they balled.

Note their description: "very doubled flower balls".

I looked at the 2 photos on HMF where the blooms are balling. As you noted, those photos were taken in Hague, Netherlands in July.

The remaining photos of Nautica on HMF were taken in Germany and show no signs of balling or disease.
Based on your dry climate I would ... Go for it! I look forward to viewing your photos of Nautica.
