There are MANY ways to start cuttings! I usually take my cuttings immediately after the rose finishes blooming. You can stick them in pots or right in the ground. Do a search for cuttings on here and you will find lots of information. Some people even start new plants by just pinning the long canes to the soil and letting them root!
