Thank You Connie bloom time for this one is earlier than any of the 70 or so different ones I have. L.A.'s are a mid season bloomer. This one some years will have buds nipped by the last frost or two of spring. I never acquired it, it was here when I moved here 7 years ago and it had been here so long it had formed a clump as big or bigger than a semi/18wheeler truck.
