It is a bit of a learning curve at first, but generally user friendly.
Here I can grow only the most disease resistant roses, so I've nearly given up.

I've been in the US just twice (1995 and 2011, Boston and NY). I would like to have more time and possibility to get there now with my family for a trip around all the US.
About roses, I think they're wonderful as they are delicate. Impossible to have them 100% healthy and for all the year.
Some of them suffer oidium, other rust, etc... I do my best with fertilizers, treatments but something always occurs. I hate mostly parasites... specially a lepidopteran with the orange belly that generates defoliating green worms.
To face all this unfortunately it takes a lot of time but in the (to me) it is worth
