Showing ugly ones on a cross by cross basis is good study material and that makes your posts about it so interesting, Rick. But, I get so many misfits I wouldn't even attempt to explain and I don't have time to review--just toss 'em by the wheelbarrow full every year. In the end (after 5 years or 2nd or 3rd flowering) I'm lucky to have maybe 5 out of 100 left from every seedling I plant by culling, or, they get deseased or they're not garden hardy, etc.
Sorry to 'butt in' but perhaps that's why I enjoy your individual cross postings so much--because it's something I never tackle here.
Oystein--that first one you show is a real nice one--I am partial to that kind of color tone/blend. Keep your fingers crossed and hope it continues to grow nicely.
