Golden Celebration is putting out some yummy looking blooms!
My sister-in-law & brother-in-law were visiting for almost 2 weeks with their kids. Every morning he would get up at zero dark thirty and make coffee and oatmeal and then head out into the garden. He cleared all the crushed granite pathways of weeds, the beds of weeds, pruned overgrown shrubs then dug up these large rocks from an old retaining border and created this curved wall, incorporating some old clay pipes and a rusty fire pot we found on an old abandoned homestead. Once we fill it in with soil, we'll add a row of eating grapes. The clay pipes will be planted with sedum to spill over the sides like my other pipes, (pictured below in last photo taken in 2012).
Family left yesterday, I will miss that workhorse BIL of mine!!
