Dark Night is on either Star or Weeks' regular list this year, so it might be easy to find. Henry Fonda has rotated back into the main list, too.
The roses that Edmunds sent me this year are huge! They came about a week after I ordered them. Just when I was starting to get antsy for communication, the box appeared on the doorstep.
One garden I toured used hog fence panels and rebar to make sturdy arbors. Also, I saw an "M" shaped series of bars at Longwood Gardens. I don't know how to describe it, really. It made a semi-circle around a seating area, and the roses were trained to follow the bent poles. The plan is to eventually do that in my circular rose bed, and so far I have planted the roses but have no way to support them. Ok, here's a link to the Longwood rose arbor:

Couldn't this be built on a smaller scale? I'm just trying to figure out a good top support because of our winds.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
