My folks always had roses, so it was natural that I grow roses, along with other plants, even in college in apartment patios. My kids grew up with roses and intensive gardening chores. I was so thrilled when my oldest daughter rented a house in San Diego and called, so excited, to tell me her new house had a rose by the door and she was just sure it was Tropicana. We had Tropicana, Tiffany, and Mr. Lincoln at every house we lived in, always by the front door so we could smell them often. Lovey dubby
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
