Sometimes I feel a little jealous of those of you who live in climates where you *can* take a break. It goes all year here. Right now, I'm trying to get things in the ground while the soil is still warm and not needing as much water. I'm deadheading perennials etc.. Once the first rain hits, I'm attacking weeds. Right after Christmas I start pruning, and that goes on into February.. I'm still battling weeds into spring, and mowing and firing up the burn piles.. It never ends, but it keeps me out of trouble Whistling
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
