Thanks Yugo! Those are so Beautiful! That is what I want my WHOLE garden to look like. Lovey dubby

Flaflwrgrl- I love fragrant flowers! That is a little cutie!

I just wrote to Eiseman to ask if he is selling Peach Princess, because I don't see any other's selling it either.
Actually Eiseman has done great things with the peach color daylilies. At least to my eye. :)
So I asked how to obtain his varieties. His site says some are for sale, but there is no way to purchase.
He does it as a hobby more than a business.
Anybody buy from him?

rebloomnut said: Welcome! Peachlily-Good Question on the HAS Photo's. I just contacted the AHS and am awaiting their answer as I have a cple pic. I would like to give them of some older ones that are not in there. I will see what they say and maybe this will be one way to help them, by offering what ones we have that are not in there. I will keep in touch on this.

That is great! I'm so glad to hear this. It would be wonderful if they could get photo's of the ones we know are still in existence and growing in someone's garden!

I already Love it here!

Oh no!
I'll be broke if I decide to have another favorite color!
I'm afraid you might be right though.

Yes, she'll be broke if she finds another color to love.hehehehhehhehhe Just wait, lets see, maybe 2 days of looking at all the photos in these threads. yeap, we got us another good daylily addict in the making.

Welcome and have fun. It's so nice to see the beauty through your eyes. I know you will have a bunch of fun with all the pictures and info on these threads. I still usually find atleast one everyday that I want to add to my collection and sometimes a bunch more than that.

Something else you will find out in the next few years. You will be madly in love with every peach daylily you can find this year. Then, next year, it'll probably be pink, then the next year red, and on down the list of all colors. This way, you can tell everyone that you must buy more because your favorite color has changed every year. Just come here if you need an excuse to buy more daylilies. I'm quite sure we can provide some real interesting reason to buy more.

Welcome, Peachlily and please have fun with your new passion. Mona

Well heck hazeleyes; you & Peachlily ought to move in together then! Hilarious! She's already claiming she's going to do crosses this coming year. Isn't Mo. right near OK.?

I'm off to look at the orange thread Natalie provided. I kept going looking for it to give to Trudy Peachlily & kept getting distracted by other threads such as the reds, the blacks & MORE! Thanks Natalie for keeping on course there & providing that link! I tip my hat to you.

Welcome to the forum. Welcome! Hurray!

I think that Michelle should volunteer to grow all 72,000 daylilies and take pictures of them. Didn't I see her volunteer? I would volunteer myself but I have a very small backyard.

Welcome! Peachlily. I have a few I consider peach-colored and I will post them. I also have a NOID peach colored double I would like someone to I.D. for me. It reminds me of Peach Magnolia, but I don't think it really is. Regardless, it is very pretty and will stay here, for it is a good bloomer. My avatar might be called peach--it is a cross I made using a Jack Carpenter seedling as the pod parent and the DL Chance Encounter as the pollen parent. I have named it "Renoir's Inspiration" because the color reminds me of the flesh tones Renoir used in his paintings. You are in for a fun time here with all these super people all ready to help you with questions and definitely to "enable" you to acquire more DLs. In fact, in time you may discover other colors, and as someone else said, then you will really be in for it!!! Hilarious!

So, okay, Trudy. You may regret reading this, but...I got the Sun Silk from Bill Maryott last year as a bonus. Right now, he has it as one of his BuyOneGetOne.

Here is a recent thread for Maryott's 2012 introductions

Okay...you can point the finger at me later when you have become as enamoured of his daylilies as most of the rest of us are and have pushed the plant budget to the very limit, and maybe a little beyond. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Hey Natalie!-- I just Loved the Orange thread! Spent a while there last night lost in the splendor! Thank you so much!

MonaLisa-- Oh yeah! I'm in heaven here! This is so much fun, and I'm biting off more than I can chew as far as my daylily budget goes, but my husband need not know right? Rolling on the floor laughing My son's 18th birthday is next week. I just asked him if he would like to have some Daylilies for his birthday! Rolling on the floor laughing Does this mean I've gone absolutely nuts? nodding My son didn't think it was very funny.

Another clue that I have gone nuts is that I searched the database for daylilies named Trudy! Guess what? There are 8 of them! But none are peach. Guess I will have to develop that one!! haha!

Ann-- Thank you so much for the tip about name tags for my lilies being pieces of mini-blinds! What a wonderful idea!

PetalsnSepals-- Thanks for the welcome! And everyone who said welcome too! I'm having a hard time keeping up here!

Hemlady-- Yes, I bet you are right. It had to be ditch lily. Grumbling My mother just called them Tiger lilies....she didn't really know...What if she saw a daylily nowdays? She would be so surprised!

Hazeleyes-- Aren't they lovely?!! I will be waiting around for your creations! Rolling my eyes.

LadylovingDove-- That is too funny.... For some reason, I thought all of them would be in someone's garden somewhere. Well let's see now, how many of us are there? 70,000 divided by how many members we have equals? haha!

Avedon!!-- Oh my goodness! Beautiful! I want them all!
Welcome Mat is one of the ones I ordered! I'm sure glad I did! Yours is beautiful. So is Golliwog...though I hadn't thought of spiders yet...that one makes me want one!

Farmerbell-- Thank you for thinking of me~! I am touched...you are an Angel
I tried to register with the Lilyauction...and I got a reply that I couldn't because my yahoo free E-mail couldn't be verified with my address???? That is sad. I don't know how to fix that. I saw some beautiful peaches there! And it looks like a great place to get the ones I want!!! Thanks for thinking of me! I'll fiddle with my yahoo and see if I can figure out what the heck that problem is. How can a daylily lover not be accepted on the Lilyauction?? Rolling on the floor laughing No fair!

Lovemyhouse- Wow! Yes, I checked out Maryott's when Ann clued me in to them and to Earlybird! I made a wish list for them too!
I was so sad to read that Robin is selling everything due to the drought they are having. It makes me wanna buy all the peach ones she has! I only bought 16....I was very frugal don't you think?. Rolling on the floor laughing

Eiseman wrote me back and thanked me for the compliments on his daylilies. He doesn't sell much and asked me to check back in the Spring. I certainly will!

...um...if there is any room left in the garden by then that is..... Lovey dubby

I have to fess up about the mini blind plant markers idea. I got it right here on ATP. It was posted as a tip. And a very good tip it was!

You'll have to get used to looking at the tips as they are posted. They can all be found by clicking on the "ideas" in the menu at the top of each page.
