my Spotty Dotty started spreading a cpl years ago
i should have taken picts of the little guys coming up as far away as 3 & 4 ft
even in the middle of my walkway so i took a bunch of them and potted them up
here they are after a cpl of years in pots

here is the (mother ?) plant 2 days ago
notice there are some new babys around it
i have put a cpl of blooming SpottyDottys with the Kaleidescope hoping to get some crosses
i get self seeds on Spotty Dotty and Kaleidescopes but they are not viable
the 2nd obvious is the location of the flower
on Spotty the flower is half way up one of the stems
on Kaleidescope it is at the leaf junction on one stem

they will drop during the winter cold and the dead stems & leafs will look yucky
but come spring it all starts again
and the new buds or what ever they are called are so cute to watch coming up
notice the dead stems laying below the new growth

are finding that Peltatum is giving a mayapple rust to the Chinese podophyllum
see post # 49
so be careful and keep them separate from each other
