Arrrrgggg! Yes indeed STOP! Like Stush, I don't need anymore plant's I gotta have! Does the Pinguicula put out a fragrance/odor to attract its victims?

I am not sure of any scent..but I do see a shiny sheen especially when it is bright and it hits the leaves. I think the insects get attracted to it.

One of my Pinguiculas indoors is getting ready to bloom:

Yup, it has lots of gnats stuck on some of the leaves, that's why this one is the biggest of the three I have..I love the Pings!
I took a photo last 08Aug, just to compare two Pings ..the one on the left is the same one that will be blooming soon, it got lots of chow so it got bigger..the one on the right I have left outdoors for awhile, ooops, did not like the full sun..and did not catch a lot:

I do not know where to put it..do not know which cultivar this is.

I think only P. pumila has flowers that bright blue.

The color of the bloom is more purple than blue, I guess the camera just picks it up that way..looking at the tag it has (which I do not think belongs to it, my plants got mixed up tumbled on the way home early this year..) the tag reads like Pinguicula piroutte. So I just call all of them Pings. When I am more certain which one this is, I will add it in the database..in the meantime, I will delay it, do not want to muddle entries there.

My indoor Ping has two new blooms this Fall Really love this plant! Blooms more often indoors than the ones I have outdoors.
