They did fine through the winter--the real test will be how they do through summer, though, isn't it. Hilarious!

yep, E-6000 is now my favorite all-purpose super-permanent adhesive!

I left one outside, not quite on purpose, LOL and it was fine. I think if there were any seams where water could get between & freeze, that might cause problems, but I tend to use a line of glue around edges and not just dots.
We're all learners, doers, teachers.

Rushdoggie Yes E6000 glues anything. Atleast 12 years ago I glued silk flowers to a sweat shirt and after 10 washes they were still there.

Hope Ok I used this thread as opposed to starting a new one. Was trying to get "back " ideas for mosaic cross in garden...and saw these and figured I would post for those seeking ideas. You probably have figured out. Did not go back to read so excuse if duplicate. Laziness enough to like the duct tape and marine glue if it is stable

What is the name of the hardware used in the 1st and 3rd pictures? It connects to the copper pipe. I make a lot of these glass flowers using spoons and small glass jars on the back but am always open for different ways to mount the flowers. Great pictures Rosie.

Took this off the net

After browsing through the hardware store I found a simple solution for creating the flowers.  It is a piece you can attached with cement glue to the back of the plate and then screw a copper pole for the stem. If you can’t find the piece in your store you can order it online here: 1/2″ BELL COPPER PIPE HANGER

or also here: Jones Stephens Corp. H83-050 Copper Pipe Hanger (Bell Type) (Pack of 25)
