I haven't seen it in years; the only small leaf variegated Ficus I ever see for sale on occasion is Creeping Fig (Ficus pumila 'Variegata')

Since F. radicans is a synonym of F. sagittata could this be it?
http://www.exoticangel.com/pla... "Style: Table Top, Hanging" The rest of the description is confusing to me.
Others they have. http://www.exoticangel.com/pla...

Edit: Even if this is the plant I can't find anyone who has it in stock.

Thanks for your lead-that's the plant, alright, but I don't think they (EA) are currently growing it. Talked to them via email, and they told me to 'keep checking' at my local big box stores (sounded more like a sales pitch to me than actually trying to help). But they couldn't tell me when/where some might be going out to ( 'product avalability changes too rapidly') nor could they send me one directly. I found a wholesale grower in FL that claims he will have some next year, but I've gone down that road before with a couple of other growers as well. Time will tell. In the mean time I've had to relearn the concepts of determination and patience!

Paul, I did find the regular green one at a terrarium/aquarium plant specialist site. I sometimes see hard to find Aroids at these sites so maybe that could lead to something. Best of luck.

I check them too. The green one is hard to find (but I did) -the variegated one is impossible!

Paul, its possible that the variegation turned out to be unstable. That would mean the plants revert to plain green over time. A lot of variegated plants do this. The all-green leaves make more food from the sun so the plant produces more of those leaves until all the variegated ones are gone.

If you don't keep propagating the variegated form it disappears entirely. Nurseries producing those plants would give up fairly easily because its too work intensive to keep them going, and then not dependable.

Seemed pretty stable when I grew it. It's not one to put up with cool weather( it was too cold to grow successfully outside in SoCal during winter). As a houseplant, I (and others) let it dry out ( it doesn't recover well from that either) and also lost it that way. Granted, it's a bit more tricky to grow than most, but when has that ever stopped plant fanatics from trying, and growers from producing beautiful plants that are not widely adapted?

I know I will be looking at Lowe's when they get plants in and I am there. They get plants from Exocitic Angels but has been too cold and I haven't been there yet. I am still looking for it for you.

All I've seen is the variegated Ficus pumila, Lowes had it out in the regular garden area here.

F. pumila varigata is not that hard to find. But this one, F. sagittata variegata (aka F. radicans variegata) is impossible!
