Have not started any more, it was a very small area that was unusable, over the last several years I have moved the plants around, added and deleted, its been really fun. There was a short time when the squirrels and chipmunks tried to wipe out the sempervivums over the winter, luckily they were not successful (not so much for my neighbor, they wiped out a 2x3' area of sempervivums), the following winter I added a plastic netting that seems to have taken care of the problem just remove it in the spring. A few of the plants earlier in the season, the Delosperma is still intermittently blooming.

Just started a fairy garden in my grandchildren garden this year. Thinking of adding some mini daylilies that were suggested on the daylily forum. Granddaughter helped arrange and plant.

I have my granddaughter coming over next weekend and we are going to make a container fairy garden. She asked me last time she visited and we didn't have enough time to start it then, but I plan to do so when she visits in a week. And of course, she will get to take it home to keep in HER yard! My yard is getting pretty filled up, so this will give her something to enjoy at her own home.

We started with a container garden that we built together at a clinic and she took it home. She loved it. She likes to help me plant!

Grandchildren make great garden helpers and you are inspiring the future generation of earth conservationists!

This is the miniature garden that my 2 granddaughters made together. (They are 3 and 6 years old.) I helped them plant the plants in the metal bucket, but they did the rest! They really enjoyed making it and then they surprised their parents and took it home!

I thought the girls did a pretty good job for their ages. I literally had to stop them from adding any more items to the mini garden because they filled it up with so many things. I had a little box of items they could choose from as well as stones and plastic Farm animals. There are actually two fairies in there as well. One pink and one blue fairy. (The blue fairy they have kind of hiding behind the tree.) The little resin "Cookie" store was the first item they pick and then their fairies. We did the plants first (which I let them also pick) and then they decorated the mini garden. They really had fun!

I added a small area to my fairy garden yesterday and needed shade for a shade plant. I took an old bird feeder and converted it to a gazebo but my daughter said it looks like a space shuttle
