Baby Star is gorgeous, I tried to get a white-striped red in the fall but ended up with something else.

Is Melusine fragrant? My NOID looks like the pics in PlantFiles but it doesn't mention fragrance.

edit: scratch that, looking on the web, it seems the pics in PF are wrong.

This one isn't blooming yet, but I thought I'd post it anyway. I was looking at it last night and thinking it looked strange, then took a better look today and realized the stem is fasciated and it separates into two stems at the top each with it's own buds. I'm hoping the lighter marks on the leaves are just from mechanical damage and not a virus. Will post when the flowers open.

Editted to say, maybe I'm looking at it all wrong and this is only two flowers??

edited to add---it's amazing what you get when you cross a petunia with a hibiscus.

Doesn't look like my Evergreen is doing much. Here's my NOID pink. Love it! Anyone have a guess?

Uh, oh, JT, How would these beauties take a dry/wet season place? They do have a dormancy requirement?

Are they anything like Crinims?

Melissa with too many plants, already.

Melissa, they should do well for you provided they never have to stand in water for long periods. The dry season may work to your advantage.I do that manually.I move mine into a darkened GH in August and stop watering to force them into dormancy. They stay there until sometime in November when they are unpotted and trimmed. Then I re-pot in fresh potting mix ,water and start the process over again. This in NOT required but lets me control the blooming time.If left to their own devices, they would bloom in late spring.
The bloom is Belissimo

I have several in spike but the weather has been so cold they are slow. These are my bulbs purchased this season. The ones I have in beds have not shown up yet, only a few green green leaves poking up. Sure will be glad when this winter is over!!

Is there any bulbs that will overwinter in zone 6? Seems like someone told me about a St Joseph one.
