Stormy -- that is sooo terrible -- the fire and all! I am glad you are safe!

Same here if you need any daylilys, hostas let me know -- I can send you out some replacements!!! Thumbs up

Thank you so much Christine. That means a lot. Thumbs up

Hilarious! Meanwhile what I thought was a Heuch coming up in the yard of the rental where I'm staying turned out to be a Peony. Rolling on the floor laughing Who ever heard of confusing a Heuch with a Peony? Confused *Blush*

That's the problem with moving somewhere that's already been planted and trying to figure out what's coming out. We've been playing an ongoing game of "Name this plant" over in my MAM cubit. Confused

Kay, several people have had this problem lately. Heres the thread where it's being discussed: http://cubits.org/cubits/threa...

Hope you get it fixed cuz I'd love to see your pictures!

Oh no Kay, I dealt with that mess for 2 darned days. Immediately after I got it fixed that darned auto update kicked in again right after I left the computer. I had to do a total of 5 restores to fix it and also had to uninstall AVG.

So after you restore, IMMEDIATELY uninstall AVG. Thumbs down

Kay, just look under the Windows help menu for "System restore". Click on "What is system restore" then click "go to System restore" and then follow the prompts. Immediately after the system reboots and tells you the restore is complete, go in and delete AVG. You may have to do two sytem restores if more than one update has come through. Then download and install the Avast.

Well, the heuchs are well on their way to waking up now!! Hilarious! More than half of mine are still buried under leaves. This section is under a big conifer and doesn't get many leaves there.

That's gorgeous! I can't believe how far ahead of us you are weather-wise. We just had a major snowstorm this week - it's been ridiculous!

Chris, We've had a very cool spring, which is nice. The bulb blooms are really lasting nicely. Last year we had no spring. It was 95 degrees on April 4th. It's been in the 60's mostly this year.

I've got a bunch of Heuchs and hosta buried over here. But I am struggling to uncover them from the leaves. Sad

All of the photos are gorgeous and I love the color combinations. Chris I really feel bad about the snowstorm as I couldn't take anymore snow.

I came across this Asian relative of heuchera tonight, which I'm not familiar with:
http://www.crownsvillenursery....

If I had room I think I would buy it and maybe plant Fire Chief next to it.
