I'm a semi-retired studio potter.

The first of the boxes from about 8 commercial growers arrived just now.
To say I'm pleased is such an understatement! ! Wow! Napa Iris Gardens raised the bar high.
Each big rhizome had it's own i.d. tag and my bonus was Oil Painting - one I've been wanting.

Hi Enid! I had high hopes for more than one increase from American Maid,
but no, just one scraggly one because of the drought ...so I'll have to send you one next year...if we have some luck!

Rolled back in last night from the Kate Wolf Music festival.. Had a lot of fun.. Played a lot of music... Look who was in the dressing room next to ours. There was just a curtain separating us... OMG!!

She was, of course, lovely, funny, and still has a tremendous voice.

This guy was two over. He put on a hell of a show.. wow..

He said Smokey Robinson was doing great at 79!

We were setting up for our second performance and our drummer was missing his throne (his seat). It wasn't with him drums backstage, and after some radio communication with the backstage liaisons, we found out that Judy Collins borrowed it to use with her keyboard at another stage.
