Yes, that's bad.

So far we are 99, with a humidity of 17% and a Dew point of 46. There are storms east of Tucson with a chance they will get into town later today and if a miracle happens they will make it across town to where we are and give us a few drops. Not holding my breath.

It's been overcast all day which made it very chilly this morning with the bit of a breeze, but it has now warmed up to a lovely 71f degrees.

Ann's getting all the rain. We haven't had a trace! In May we had 1.4" of rain and so far in June we've had 1.2". Normally we get an average of 9" of rain in May and 6" of it in June. We are crispy! Hope that next storm dumps some of the wet stuff over here on the Central east coast. I wish, I wish!

Geez Arlene, looking at the radar yesterday it looked like Daytona was getting creamed! I guess it just wouldn't drop south that little bit to get you wet.

We got to 93 today before the storms began. Wicked all around us - enough to make me shut down & unplug the computer but they didn't quite hit us today. We got a trace of rain but not enough to really measure. I'll have to go water my potted plants in a few minutes.

Everything seems to be turning brown here really fast, due to a lack of rain. We got slammed up until last month, but we've only had an inch this month. We're still about normal though, thanks to the abnormal amount we got earlier. Lots of clouds out, and it has looked like it would rain for the last few days, but it isn't hitting the ground. The weather is still going to be way too hot here by this weekend, so we're going to my Dad's for a visit for sure. It should be about 113 here on Sunday, but only 94 at his place, and 94 sure sounds a lot better to us! We'll leave Saturday, when it is supposed to get to 109 here. Yuck!

That gully washer we got yesterday hardly did much even though the measurement was over 1". It came down so fast & furious & you know we are "hilly" here so it just ran. It wasn't like a slow sinking in rain. Still, I am glad for what we got & it will do good at the bottom of the hill.

Just hit 100F and 15% humidity.

We've been having about 2" of rain a week and that really is not normal for us.

We have a heat advisory from Friday at 1 pm until Saturday at 9 pm. Friday is expected to be 104, and Saturday is 110. However, Sunday is 112, so why would they not include Sunday in the heat advisory? The following days are 105, 105, 106, 104 and 104. Doesn't it seem like those days should be included as well? Seems like the unpaid interns are still in charge of weather.com.

Good morning everyone! Started at 68F, but right now it is already 74F with 48% humidity. This would be the nicest part of the day, later we will sizzle at 104F, and a similar repeat tomorrow, forecast to be just a tad lower at a high of 100F.
Saturday and Sunday will be bit of a relief they say between 91 and 92F, I guess due to some thundershowers that may occur at the higher elevations. More fire danger to folks up there, due to expected dry lightning. But Tues to Thur next week is all triple digit high Okay, just got to hold on and plan garden work early and hide the rest of the day.

They are calling for a high of 92F. Currently it is 66F, or at least it was the last time I checked.

I hate that most of us are having terrible weather. 99 here again today and tomorrow. Still no air conditioning. My husband hasn't acclimated and is really suffering. The repair man came today with the wrong part. He said he'll be back in a couple of hours so we'll see. The heat is supposed to break on Sat when we'll get much needed rain and then pretty normal temps forecast for next week. We'll get the air fixed just about when the heat wave stops.
Gotta laugh so we don't go crazy.

It's only 89 now so I'm going to go mow a little.
