Wow! That's huge.

I repotted the vines yesterday and added some Pothos that a neighbor gave me.

Is the one with the burgundy leaves the new one? I like it.

TY! Sorry, I didn't notice your comment when originally added. The burgundy one is a Philodendron. Pothos is the one at the bottom of the pic, in the 2nd pic.

New hanging pot I put together last weekend, all from cuttings. Still needs more stuff in the side holes, waiting for some mama plants to grow more to lend cuttings to fill them. The ornamental purslane (Portulaca umbraticola) and wax Begonias didn't stop blooming.

2 5-gallon buckets of vines. Heart leaf vine on the left (Philodendron hederaceum/scandens/oxycardium.) About 2 months ago I chopped a bunch of chunks off of it to use for a bouquet. On the right is Swiss cheese vine (Monstera obliqua,) Pothos (Epipremnum,) and horse head (Philo bipennifolium.)

Dracaena 'Janet Craig Compacta' repotted recently and its' existing companions were put in ground at that time. Friends added via cuttings at various times since, Schefflera arboricola, Hoya 'Chelsea,' Begonia 'Castaway.'

Nice, Tiffany! I like how you're using the vertical space too, with the tall dracaena. Really gives it some "oomph"!

I think that's nicely done.

TYVM! It helps quell my urge to cut that plant. It's not begun to have enough length of trunk to be considering that, but it's a kind of Drac I haven't cut before. It's teaching me to be more patient. ;)

The ornamental purslane (Portulaca umbraticola) is blooming well! An added bonus for this pot during morning hours.


This pot got sunburned first thing this spring when I forgot it was hanging under a tree with no leaves yet, the day after putting there to get an evening rain the day before. The little Aloe bellatula at the front is going to bloom again. Kalanchoes are making mad offspring. Cuttings of ornamental purslane added last weekend to fill up the top a bit more.


A combo of combo pots on shady front porch. Faces east but there's a tree that blocks most of the direct light. Dracaenas, palms, Begonias, Philodendrons, arrowhead vines (Syngonium podophyllum.)

Schlumbergera truncata with Begonia 'Medora' cutting added a couple months ago.

I like that, Tiffany! Never thought of combining anything else with a holiday cactus, but the pointy leaves of the begonia go very well with it

TYVM! That pot is a pair of comeback kids. I'm so glad that stem of Medora seems so happy there. I lost several individuals from getting too dry this past winter & didn't have much left of that. Then this summer's been a real bummer for thirsty plants put in the ground for summer vacation because of a 5-week stretch with no rain during 95+ temps every day. Plants not growing, barely staying alive with what I could do to help with the hose. And some critter, squirrels I think, apparently loves to munch on holiday cacti & there was a lot of loss/shrinkage on those the past couple summers. This summer I didn't put any in such vulnerable spots, keeping closer to the house & that has stopped the munching (knock wood!)

Thank you, it's held those flowers all summer. Does the Echeveria die after it blooms? I have been trying to get a leaf rooting to takeoff but not having success.

How awesome! I've not heard anything about Echeverias being monocarpic.

Thanks Tiffany, part of my problem is weird weather this summer, 100 plus for a few days then overcast with rain. Stem cutting take right off for me, leaf starts just sit and more than half rot or dry out.
