Thank you and double thank you! Shelia's Perfume was a lucky shot. The rose is located in the west side of my yard. I happened to be looking out the window of my home at around 5:30 PM when I caught a glimpse of Shelia's Perfume that appeared to be glowing from the sunlite streaming in through the trees. I quickly grabbed the camera and captured a backlit photo. It was just a matter of being at the right place at the right time. I am very happy to share it with all of you.

Second photo kinda fits the name with it's surroundings - tropical - yes? no?

Here's a series of photos of Tournament of Roses showing progression. The last photo does remind me of a parade of roses (Tournament of Roses).

I thought I recognized the coloring on South Africa, it's such a vivid orange juice color, took this yesterday.

What is the daylily in that tropical shot Margie, and is that lily Red Alert?

Yes, it is - like a marigold yellow color. It retains the color for a very long time too. Midas Touch is not quite as vivid but still a good yellow - does not fade quickly. I like Golden Fairy Tale as well but it is a light shade. Julia Child fades too quickly in my opinion but a lot of people sure do rave about it. What is one of your favorite yellow roses?

Beautiful photo Sue! or is it Suzanne? Orange juice is a better color description.

The lilies in the background are some kind of tiger lily. The ones up front are a deep orange Asiatic lily that was sent to me as bonus from B&D Lily company. I was sent one and now they have multiplied.

Sue or Suzanne, I like Suzanne better, my legal name, and should have gone with that when I turned 12, when I requested everyone stop called me Susie. nodding

Suzanne - I looked through the B&D catalog and I don't see it being offered. As I recall, a few yrs. ago, I tried to find out the name - never found it. If you would like, I would more than happy to send you one.

All done!

FYI, if it ever happens again, you can propose the move yourself. Enlarge the image, scroll down and select the move to another plant option. Add the plant name, better yet, add the plant ID#, in this case, it was 228840, then submit and it goes into a pending queue for admin approval. Thumbs up
