I think I'm confusing or maybe misleading you *Blush*

My cuttings are just fine now. They are doing there thing. Nothing wrong with those anymore Smiling

I was referring to cutting the leaves that are sun burned on the ones I bought from home depot. Those leaves are much worse than in the previous pics. I'll take some more pics and show you.
I've seen videos where they cut the leaves right smack in the middle of the stem. Between the trunk and where the leaf begins on the stem.
I've seen other videos where they say to cut the leaf off about an 1/2 inch where the leaf starts on the stem to reduce less bleeding. (Basically the whole stem is still there and about 1/2 an inch of the leaf as well)

No confusion here, Lucky. I was referring to the sunburned leaves.

Where you actually cut does not really matter as far as I have ever seen. Cutting it right where the leaf-stem meets the trunk will produce more "bleeding" of that white, latex-like substance and cutting it 1/2" or even onto the leaf itself will produce less. There will always be some bleeding regardless.

Ok, thank you. I'll try the less bleeding technique.

Do you recommend how much water I should use when I do have to water it? They are in 9 inch Nursery #2 Pennington Black containers from home depot.
Would I water it slowly till I see excess water come out of the drainage holes or should I give it a certain amount of water? 1 qt, 1/4 gallon, etc etc?

If you have a well draining mix you can give it plenty, since it should drain out any excess.

I agree I use a hose with a gentle "shower" head and water until I see a copious amount of water draining out the bottom holes.

Hello, I have a planted plumeria from a clipping that was given to me last spring. I planted it and it has been fine. Growing new leaves and growing taller. I live in Florida and within the last couple of days, it all of a sudden looks droopy and the leaves just hang with no life in them. Is this a dormant time or what do I do???

Welcome! Memafor2
This is the time of year that Plumeria start going dormant. Some earlier than others. So - that could be it!
Is it in the ground or in a pot? Are you in an area that you need to protect it from frost?

Are the leaves changing colors? If it is potted or in an area where you can readily check the root soil, I would check that first. If they are not changing color, but the leaves are limp and soft, you may need to water more deeply/more often. Definitely check soil first.

I agree with both Hetty and James. Do check and see if the soil around that plant stays too dry. Many of my plants are going dormant but with every single one, the leaves will yellow before dropping.

Welcome! Mary, @Daytonalady. From what I can tell from the photos, I don't really see anything wrong. What troubles you?

I didn't see anything wrong. Just keep watering appropriately and your plant should be fine.

The only thing I noticed is that it seems like a very small pot for that plant, and it's only have full of soil mix. Giving it a larger pot with more room for roots might make it happier.
