I tip my hat to you. Thankyou Green Grin!

(With these long summer days I'm not getting to the computer in time to process pics to post - I have a backlog of lilies to share and sleep to catch up on!)

I like the color hue, especially. Thumbs up
And isn't it interesting how so many tango type lilies can vary so much in their flower color patterns, even on the same plant. When I notice a difference, the flecking is always heavier on the earlier flowers than later, subsequent flowers on the same stalk.

An example here. Also see color changes as the flower ages. A seedling from Øystein's cross of Lilium 'Ilga' x 'Stellar Light'

They are changeable aren't they? I've grown very few tangos, but this year I have a lot of 'Thesire' and a few seedlings, and I really notice the variation. Even on a single flower, one side can be heavily marked and the other side less so.

Some pics, first off this is 'Showoff', an Australian bred asiatic from Tonkin Bulbs:

Not a tango... but is it a brushmark? The markings are quite unlike any I've seen.

Some tetra seedlings from the exchange:

One of my favourite seedlings of the season. I used Patricia's Pride pollen a lot a couple of summers ago! I hope this turns out to be a good plant. First pic on opening and second pic taken about a week later. It still looks fresh today:

That is an unusual one. I don't think I've seen one similar, either. I really like it. Thumbs up

The finer flecking (as opposed to the rounded spots as in your Patricia's Pride seedlings and L. lankongense) is what I associate most with tangos. So I would call it tango brushmarks! Big Grin

I've noticed the asymmetric density of color on many tangos, too. A very unfortunate trait, in my opinion. On a couple seedlings of mine, it was so strong that it was rather hideous. Sad
