I was looking at Mid=America's Website last night and found their new ones, including pictures. Can't remember if all had pictures. Had started with the medians before I found the 2016 group. I think they have already repriced at least those.
Liz.. I did not get a clear picture of the tag of this one this but it looks like a match.. there was a nice clump of it and it was located with all the others that are getting names I will share all of there new intro's I have pictures of as soon as Thomas updates the website with the rest of them. Hope this helps it sure is a beautiful pink and probably the one I will pick for a bonus.
Hi everybody it was cold here today high's in the 20's and we got another 4 or 5 inches of snow we are definitely ready for spring and see things start to green up again. I am excited to get to work outside in the yard again hopefully the worst of winter has passed I can't wait to get going on building my new berms for the back yard so I started going through the landscapes pictures from Mid America for ideas. Just wish it all was Iowa Hardy hopefully some day I can get a little piece of this at home it really is a amazing place to visit and as much as I enjoy looking at all the new seedlings and walking the iris fields, seeing the collection of plants and trees and along the winding paths is always something I look forward too and it seems to get better every time I visit
Oh my gosh.. These pictures of the mixed beds at Mid America make my heart go pitty pat.. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I saw that variegated dogwood in bloom. In my heart I want a Pacific Northwest garden, but have to deal with the California drought and inherent dryness.. We can't grow hostas at all here as the snails make mincemeat out of them. Which, for some reason reminds me I need to check my gopher traps.. I haven't been on the garden the past couple of days other than to make a quick tour to make sure nothing bloomed behind my back (one got by me.. But there are more buds coming).. Wow, I'm up really late tonight.. So hard to unwind after a show
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
@Henhouse
Sherry, meant to say something on the other thread, but I closed it without thinking and now can't remember which it was.
Brad will forgive me for using this long-winded way of telling you congratulations on the show.
Some very nice mixed beds indeed. I have had lots of trouble with some of the newer, more expensive hostas dying after a year or two. Seems like the older ones I have do well, but I haven't had much luck with some of the nicer fancy ones. I just got tired of spending lots of money for them and having them die out.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
