Well, I had to cancel the order for Pee Wee's Big Adventure, the order went through and I was willing to pay the 15.00 shipping for one daylily but, Browns Garden, emailed me and said there was a min. order of 50.00. All the good stuff was picked over, so I just canceled.
I found North Wind Dancer on Maryott's today. Also 2-Firestorm arrived from Old Smokey's today, yesterday I got 2-Ruffles in Lavender from Marietta's also snagged a 'Absolute Treasurer' plus he (john) sent a second one as a bonus. Sweet!
Ok, I guess that is enough bud builders for now, unless I snag a LILLIAN'S FUNKY SPUNKY.

This year Volia Francois was a bud builder extraordinaire! I don't know if he does it every year, but those crooked scapes are distinctive. I love budbuilders!

I can't find it, is it spelled right? Some don't do it every year because conditions have to be right. I would love to see!

I really like it a lot too and the bud building is always a bonus. The ruffles are beautiful and make it look all dressed up. I saw farmerbells listing and I think it is worth the money. I must wait for next payday though.

I am extremely happy to know that Voila Francois is a bud builder. It is brand new in our garden this year, was an LA daylily from Junemark. It has bloomed very well for a first year plant, and it is the only single fan DL I have purchased. The good news is it didn't take long to pop another fan. Looking for more beautiful blooms next year.

Is Galaxy Explosion a Bud Builder? How fast do the new buds build? What I mean is, will they build one at a time, or will you see new ones coming while other blooms on the scape are still opening? Is there a picture of one in the middle of its bud building? How many buds does it need to have to qualify?

I do not think that GE is a BB but it might be. Sure is beautiful!!

Susan I have Sky King. New for 2012. Got a few blooms at about 18". Reg @ 55"
