Don't know if they're still shipping but Sterrett Gardens has Arrogant Bastard for $45 and they ship healthy plants. I would call them because an email I sent earlier this summer was not received.

Thanks!. I will check with them next spring. They are actually close to me but I figure with the toll (Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel) and gas it would cost around 75.00 to go there and I can spend that money on daylilies if I simply order. I still might go if I can go during peak season to see the display gardens. (Kodak moment )...They are very nice people.

It's one of my all time favorite plants too. My clump is still blooming. Amazing plant, good branching, budcount, and it bud builds every year for me. A friend of mine sells on the Lily Auction and he asked me a couple weeks ago if I would be ready to split my clump up, as he has buyers for it...but it was my best performing clump this season. I don't want to split it up! I think that is why AB is seldom for sale. People that have it like it so well, they want to keep it.

Christine you are correct. Autumn king is sporting nine branches and over 85+ buds.

Finally gaining on the garden clean up, almost done Anyhow, I found scapes from two more that were bud-builders this year.

Peaches En Regalia- 3 & 4 way branching with the terminal "V" sporting 7 bud scars on one side 8 bud scars on the other. This one also rebloomed this year. It is registered as reblooming but no mention of bud-building, will need to watch for it next year.



Incense and Peppermints - super nice diploid from Rich Howard. Big and distinctive with it's red pattern eye. Only registered with two branches (a top "V") having 18 buds, it bud-builds and did show 4 way branching here with 29 buds on 2 laterals and the terminal "V". Registered as a bud-builder.
