Cobweb Joy is really red coming out of winter into spring. Was still red last week.

Tabby - that pacific hep is my favorite - tho they are all lovely.

ValleyLynn (and anybody else who wants to chime in) do you have a *most* reliable supplier?

I have several favorite suppliers.
SMG
Perennial Obsession
North Hills Nursery
Wild Ginger Farm (she has her very own hybrides, that are awesome)

I know I am forgetting some. I'm not at home so can't see my list.

THANKS for the "good places to start"

Here is a pic of pretty much all I have yet, (plus the 6 reds from Michigan bulb) all hand-me-down NOIDs

Sempervivum means "forever living".
So when I had to bury the feline love of my life - the kitty who made a mommy out of me - I covered her with sempervivum because she will beforever living in my heart.

I LOVED that cat SO much!
Group hug

I can relate.....

The graves of my cats and dogs are covered in sempervivum and sedum. I wanted something that would grow even when I couldn't take care of it.

My login name is from my twenty pound tabby who is still with us. Smiling

Here's a few more pictures. Most of these were new late last year.

So the "reds" are generally reddest in the spring, right?
Not red at winter solstice, when they'd fit with the Christmas scheme, right?

Well, we didn't HAVE a winter this year! Hilarious!
But even when we do, it doesn't stay blanketed EVERY day.
And the longer winter here than where I came from is what drew me to favor evergreen plants.

Here's a pic of my Pacific Blazing Star. The color intensity is a little washed out because it was taken in full sun. They are marvelous this year.

Well, uploading is not working for me again, will have to try another time.
