This forum is focused on gardening in the hot, humid climate of the Southeastern United States.

Most of our members
live in an area with:


- Humid Subtropical Climate
- Köppen climate = Cfa
- Hot, humid summers
- Mild to cool winters
- USDA Zones 6 - 8b/9a
- AHS Heat Zones 7 - 9

Most of our members
reside in these states:


- Alabama
- Arkansas
- Georgia
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Virginia

as well as these areas:

- North Florida (Panhandle)
- Southeast Missouri (Bootheel)
- Southeast Oklahoma
- East Texas

Everyone is welcome to contribute, though, even if gardening outside of these areas! Thumbs up
