Hosta 'Bulletproof' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
A sport of 'Touch of Class'. I separated out my own blue eyes and have a thriving 'Bulletproof' now. New 2010.
Hosta 'Cameo' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2007 and doing reasonably well.
Hosta 'Captain Kirk' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
Mine was a gift in 2009 and it's doing well.
Hosta 'Cat and Mouse' |
Prev Commercially available hosta |
Had this one and it reverted to solid blue. Gave it away.
Hosta 'Center of Attention' |
Prev Commercially available hosta |
This one always had tears in the leaves. Gave it away.
Hosta 'Charlotte's Web' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2011. An unstable streaker. Mine badly needs to be divided.
Hosta 'Cherish' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2007. I'm always amazed when this one returns and thought I had lost it for sure in 2018. But it did show up eventually. Very, very tiny though.
Hosta 'Cherry Berry' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2006. It's a favourite of slugs, but the red seed pods are lovely. Seeds, however, are not very viable. Nearly all will produce white seedlings that don't grow.
Hosta 'Cherry Tart' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2011 and growing well. The petioles are not quite as red as I had hoped though.
Hosta 'Chinese Sunrise' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2006. Love the bright yellow in spring but it darkens fairly quickly.
Hosta 'Chôkô Nishiki' |
Have |
New 2006. I believe this has the potential to grow much larger, but it's between a couple of lilacs which grab most water.
Hosta 'Christmas Pageant' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
This has not been a fast grower for me. New 2008.
Hosta 'Church Mouse' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2013 and I love it's frilly leaves.
Hosta 'Country Mouse' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
Not a member of the BME family but still a cutie. I lost my first plant one winter. This one dates from 2013 and is doing well.
Hosta 'Cracker Crumbs' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
new 2005. I have a border and a division in a pot. Love the bright yellow colour early in the season.
Hosta 'Curly Fries' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
This one has thrived in full sun for the last 3 years after we lost a tree. New 2012.
Hosta 'Cutting Edge' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2008 and it's much larger than I expected it to be. It's got attitude! But with foul spring weather in 2018, this year it's smaller. Am hoping for better in 2019.
Hosta 'Dee's Golden Jewel' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
I'm calling this plant 'Dee's Golden Jewel'. In fact, it is the yellow that I divided out of my 'Jewel of the Nile' which sported from DGJ. It was divided in 2012 and has proven to be a spectacular yellow hosta.
Hosta 'Deja Blu' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2007 and has grown well for me though it has never shown much of the white "lightening bolt" in the leaves. It is fertile and I have a lovely blue seedling from it (2010) which is a sizable plant.
Hosta 'Diana Remembered' |
Have Commercially available hosta |
New 2004. Large, fragrant, white flowers. This has not been a fast grower for me. |
