New 2012. Not large, but a reasonable grower. Was stable for the first few years but in 2018 has shown a large eye that stabilized to creamy white with a green margin. Have had a few seedlings, most streaked, but none so far that showed much vigour.

Hosta 'Eleanor Lachman'

Have
New 2012 in memory of a late friend named Eleanor. This one has grown quite well for me.

Hosta 'Electrocution'

Have
New 2014. For the first time, in 2018, it is really showing why it got it's name.

Love this one. New 2009. It is also fertile and I've got a couple of seedlings, one yellow and one green but both with ruffled leaves.

Never grew well for me.

Hosta 'Fire and Ice'

New 2012. This one received a great deal more sun than I thought ideal after we lost a tree 4 years ago and much to my surprise, it didn't melt out but rather thrived.

Hosta 'Fire Island'

New 2007. It grew beautifully for a few years but every since I divided it a few years ago, it has been reluctant to grow well. I now have it in a pot to nurture it.

New 2008. Has been a VERY slow grower for me.

New 2007. Lovely in spring with its yellow margins.

I divided this plant entirely into smaller divisions in 2011 and

Hosta 'Fortunei Aureomarginata'

One of my first few hostas, acquired in the late '90s. It's an old variety, but a pretty one though the margins on mine fade to nearly white fairly early.

Hosta 'Fragrant Bouquet'

New 2005. This was one of the earliest hostas I traded and I like it a lot. Fragrant, white flowers late in the season.

Another of my original hostas acquired in the late '90s. I currently have two divisions. The one in my back yard usually looks darker green than the one in the front yard.

I didn't really have space for this and it was not flourishing in the dark space where I had it. I gave it to a young friend with lots of space.

Hosta 'Frisian Pride'

Have
New 2012. Had grown well, but given its droopy habit, this would look good in a raised pot.

Hosta 'Frosted Dimples'

Have
New 2007. This one has lovely powder-blue leaves which hold their colour very well through the entire season.

new 2009. Part of the "Mouse Ears" clan and it has done well for me.

New 2015. An impulse buy after I saw faint pink edges on the leaves. It happens only in early spring. Bright gold early in the season. Blooms late.
