Its the end of the year here. Still some color.

But, pictures of things to come. Jo added some new this year.

I think it's odd, as hardy as hostas are, they're the first to turn color.

I am waiting for them to be transparent. I rarely cut them back in fall.They just seem to dissolve on their own.

Always nice to have a little extra color into the fall. I like your mosaic walkway in that last shot!

I plan a few more in spring.

I just remembered I had a thread (below) from a few years back of garden tours, I took shots of several neat mosaic type walkways and patios, someday I want to do some like that. I have a small section I plan to do in front of my bench under my satalitte pergola.

These are Renes gardens and paths.
I love how whimsical they are.I am not inspired by those loc-brick pavers. I asked the guy to use recycled materials and I included the broken up pieces of quartz counter cut outs from the kitchen remodel

Hi Jo Ann. Those are great pictures of your garden paths. They are all so pretty. I think my favorite are the stones placed on the diagonal in between the slabs. Very ingenious!

Some plants just dont know when to quit.

Right about the time you need to start digging and dividing or transplanting, they decide to put more blooms out.

Crew I hired ,cleaned my gardens in an hour and a half.It would take me a week of short timelines.
Kinda sad to see the garden ending.
I have high hopes for next spring.

Couldn't you get them to cut down the stuff in that little square behind your garden in the picture that belongs to your neighbor?

I think it looks nice and fall neat now.
