I should not have told Jo Ann about her popularity . Every one has a favorite granny or two and if I tell Jo Ann all those kids coming and paying court were doing it in honor of her in particular and the grannies in general. Come on every one loves grannies please don't feel shy.

Arif: These are pix taken in early spring.The perennials arent fully emerged. The gardens are 6 years old.

See, changing into a jungle already. I like the vast open spaces to play in. Is that bear changing its position in relation to other things?

The bear is carved from a tree and weighs 300 pounds ,she can stay where she is.The garden changes around her from year to year and season to season.

The house and landscaping are 20 years old.We have lived here 7 years.I came from a small house on a small lot so when I figured out I had all the new room here I went crazy.
The landscape being 20 years old meant there are some large trees with problems.When we moved in the property lines were divided by rows of evergreens.The Scots pines were infected with beetles and in 4 years we had to cut down all the pines on the North East border.
Thats why the pix from 2009 and 2012 look different.there are a few trees missing.
