But that probably looks a lot neater than the neighbors. I think a large trellis with a clem would look nice right in front of it. Maybe a big canvas with one of your fantastic paintings.

I've certainly enjoyed watching your gardens grow! In one of your pictures I see a shrub that has oak leaf shaped, dark leaves on it. Is that a hydrangea? I have "Ruby Slippers" ordered for spring. I hope it's as pretty as the pictures I've seen.

That is a dwarf PeeWee. The leaves go dark in fall about frost time.I love the Hydrangea.I have 3 but only one gets blooms due to deer eating them back to the ground some years.

Its all I do. I take my time planting.The first 3 years were hell but I was younger and now I dont have the stamina to work as long but I dont care.
It took 5 years to create what you see so the effort was spread out over time.
I also had many contributions from gardeners or it wouldnt be half the size they are.
I also have help as of 2 years ago,moving shrubs and big heavy jobs.
I often tell people I'm like a shark"if I stop moving ,I die"
I visited a GF in a Nursing Home,she was there for 10 days of rehab.There were permanent residents younger than I.I couldnt believe it.I guess we dont all age at the same rate.
