Billie, you should post your photos in our current Feb. Photos and Chat thread The thread "Photos and chat, February 2014" in Roses forum so we can really get our hearts aflutter over your blooms and dream about the upcoming bloom season!

May I ask how you go about proposing a change of information on the rose data base. The mix up is with the Kordes rose Escimo which is listed under the name of Eskimo which is a completely separate rose. There are also comments on help me find regarding this. Information there has not yet been change either. I can see this perhaps causing confusion for those that use these data bases when researching for a purchase. There isn't a place for such a comment on proposing a change to data base.

If your request for a change entails a long explanation, you'd do better to send a tree-mail to me or to Calif_Sue.

If you look Escimo up on Helpmefind, you'll see that Kordes used the name three times -- once for a 1991 floribunda (KORcilmo), once for a 2005 miniature rose (KORalbavan), and once for a 1991 shrub (KORmifan). The one in our database is the floribunda. It's listed as Eskimo because it's most often sold under that name. Our roses are listed under their exhibition names. If no exhibition name is listed, we use the name used by the nurseries selling the rose -- in this case, Eskimo.

If you want a listing for one of the other Escimos, let me know.

Thank you for your response. I see now where I'm getting the confused information on help me find is thru a google search for Escimo. When I search on the site information comes up correctly. Yes, could their be a listing for Escimo shrub rose then I could add pictures this spring when she starts to grow again.

I'm confused, Philip. KORresia was the registration name of Sunsprite, aka Freesia, but it's a Kordes rose and has nothing to do with David Austin.

The only entry we had for Fond Memories is the McGredy floribunda, which is a pink blend, but I see that the name was also given to an orange-blend miniature rose, so I've created a new entry for that one.

Lol i am always confused,..i did have a tag for this rose but i am unable to find it,..the Korresia Rose i mean,..i entered it in my plants book and also looked it up on the internet then bookmarked it,..shown below,..having said that i frequently get roses tagged incorrect

So David Austin Roses just sells it, as the description says, Sunsprite is one of the best yellow floribundas.
