Well, I thought I was finished with the LA this year, and I had accepted the fact that I was NOT getting CUTTING LOOSE, but I got an email because I forgot to remove it from my wanted items and abundantdaylilies was offering a single fan for 35.00 and I snatched it up. Ok, I am really done now, this will be the icing on my cake!! Come on spring!!

Cutting Loose and Turquoise Treasure are both very pretty daylilies. Congratulations on your wins!

And want to thank whoever brought this thread out of retirement, I've been spending the last 2 or 3 days reading through some of the shenanigans that were going on last delivery season.

Thank you cats1 , I am very glad I was able to get one even though it is just a single fan. In my zone they do fine. I really do like this thread, lots of good information and pictures too.

Hahaha it was CERULEAN CIRCLE that did me in...

I've also been eyeing SPINEFELD, BLUE MARTINI, BLUE WRANGLER and STENCILED DI FRESCO, but I also just accumulated the list of what I have coming (it maaaaaay be over 100 plants :blinking:) so I am trying to behave for the time being.

I have been a very good girl. I have stayed off the LA for the past 2 months. Really is a miracle. Of course I splurged in November and December, but that doesn't count

I've got 9 plants coming for spring delivery and noticed the other day 6 of them were single fans. -- Guess I'd lost track of how many singles I'd ordered!

I splurged also during those months. It was a good time too, not many people bidding. However if that does not count then we can buy more right?...... It started off this morning with CUTTING LOOSE, now suddenly there are 15 daylilies on my watch list.

You go girl! And this is such a great time to get them -- seems like there is less competition in bidding, or is it just that nobody else wants what I want right now...

James, I got SPINEFELD last year and love it -- and I just succumbed to BLUE MARTINI a couple of weeks ago when I first saw it on Mark's auctions. I know what I'm getting is well over 100 now and have no place to put them -- and going strong, I might add -- I just ordered the new intro A LADY NAMED HANK and BOB FAULKNER from Heidi at Browns Ferry -- she gave me a credit on one that didn't make it last year, so what else could I do I ask you... but charge ahead! A LADY NAMED HANK is a sib of their 2015 intro BOSS HOGG that people are so excited about, and after I really stopped and looked at it -- I loved HANK!

I'm pretty sure I'll be lining pathways with potted daylilies this year, at least until I can see lots of blooms and start giving a bunch away. And then, of course, there are my seedlings...

Edit: I just heard back from Rossen at Amazing_daylilies (Pete Harry Daylilies), and they're going to ship my TURQUOISE TREASURE tomorrow! YEA!!

Tell Ruby to keep her lips to herself! She is a bad influence on the other daylilies, who are trying to spread their pollen the right way. Maybe you could separate them with a nice cactus.
