Happy belated birthday, Pegi! And Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone here!

I got some giant pinecones when Tony and I were in Napa Valley one year, on a motorcyle ride, of all things. We pulled off on a very rural road and looked down and there were these HUGE pinecones! Put them in the 'trunk' of the BMW bike, right now they are in my magazine basket as Christmas decoration. I sprayed them with gold spray glitter. I LOVE gold spray glitter, LOL! Though you can't see the glitter that well in this photo...

I saw these .. and thought they were so attractive...Sexy .. but down to earth...
but then again I've a number of plant related issues.. others might not be so attracted... individual mileage will varry
