I watch her every day while her mother (my daughter) works. They also live with me so I can kind of relate on that hand. As far as the shipping, I know I am not the only customer (that was why I said I didn't want to be pestering anyone). I just didn't understand why they ask you to provide a shipping date and then they don't ship on that date. I included that info with the short letter I sent with the money order payment. This is the same seller that has never marked paid for the purchase either. I did have to send 2 emails to find out if the payment was received. Should I be worried?

Betja said:I should have taken a picture of the inside of my box from Michele but didn't think about it at the time. I've never seen daylilies (or any other plants) packed so beautifully. There (was or were?) more than a dozen daylilies, and they were all standing up and packed totally neatly in newspaper, and all I had to do was pull up on each one and out they came -- in perfect condition! And the newspaper around each one was packed and folded so neatly that I almost felt like I was looking at "hospital corners." I couldn't get over that -- packing perfection!
A beautiful job, Michele, and it means even more to me knowing that you stayed up practically all night doing that for me -- and, of course, others.
Edit: I just read your last message, Michele, and I feel very bad that everything has piled on you like this. And I wish there was some way I could help. I've been oohing and aahing over so many of your seedling pictures and am wondering how those fared during this terrible winter. Do you have multiples of any of those and, if so, could you maybe register some and sell the divisions at introduction prices? I would certainly be interested in purchasing a few from you at some point.
Anyway, something to think about...

It would be so much easier for you if you signed up at USPS.com and just printed out your postage. You just tape it to the boxes and turn in a package request pickup the day before. You have to turn in your package pickup the day before or no later than 2:00am of the day to pick them up. The mailman comes and picks up your packages for you. Of course if you live in an apartment this wouldn't work. If I did not have this feature I would think twice about selling stuff because the traffic to my post office is bad.

I'm still waiting for more cold because I remember May 4th last year we had low 40 temp and the wind chill dropped it down to mid 30s.

If you can't ship the week of May 5 for me (Scout) because of bad and/or cold weather, then it's ok to ship the following week. I should have mention that in my email to you.

It should be fine to ship that week, I have washed and gotten plants ready in 35° temps as long as it's not windy or raining. I'm not really expecting any cold but the way this winter/spring has been you never know
Hazelcrestmikeb said:Michele I got my small order from Mljomo yesterday minus Red Bull that rotted. I won one fan of Tusk and got six, won one fan of Breakfast With Santa and got two. Also got Buddy's Jane as a gift plant. I saw your three pictures of BJ. It's a nice big yellow flower.
Without a doubt, not everybody is going to be happy with everything. The best thing to do is communicate with the seller. I had one that took almost two weeks to respond to my email about my shipment last season. We truly don't know the circumstances behind some of the delay. While we know that there is always going to be a bad apple out there, just treat it as a bump in the road. The growing and selling process is no easy task.
